This elite training experience is designed to help U9 to U15 girls & boys master their shooting skills, strengthen their agility on their skates through their Hockey Stance, with enhanced puck control to develop a powerful, explosive accurate shot!

PROGRAM DETAILS

Dates: August 2 to August 8, 2026.
Location:  APM Cornwall, PE & Simmons Sports Centre, Charlottetown, PE
Cost: $475.00 CDN per player + HST
Limited to 2 groups of 24 players.

What’s Included in the Program:

  • 10-Week Off-Ice Self-Directed Program. 
    Your hockey player will develop a strong Hockey Stance through a series of progressive, daily activities where the result will be an explosive, quick & accurate wrist, snap & backhand shots.  The dangerous and powerful Slap shot is also introduced!  Included with every purchase is 1 x H-Puck, Instructional Program Videos & Instructional Booklet.
  • 1 x 1.5 Hour Off-Ice Orientation Group Session. 
    Specifically, to discuss Program expectations, including Hockey Stick details such as the length and flex, as well as the stick's knob and stick blade, and how to hold on to your stick. Why a player is left or right-handed, and how it can impact Muscle Memory with respect to Time and Space for the Sport of Hockey! Why thinking correctly will impact and gradually eliminate 'hesitation' for the Hockey Player. All Questions will be gladly addressed!  
  • 5 x 1.5 Hour Key Lower Half & Body Core Development for the Sport of Hockey through the use of plyometrics.
  • Strength, Speed and Agility Assessment through the usage of measurable/predictable plyometric movements for the sport of Hockey. In essence, all will be given the opportunity to embark on their personal Journey & track their development with the objective of forming the most Powerful Hockey Stance, ensuring foot speed & lateral speed become elite and explosive!
  • 5 x 1.5 Hour Off-Ice Group Session. 
    All aspects of each Weekly Activities of the 10-Week Off-Ice Program will be reviewed as a group, demoed and discussed with the hockey players performing the Weekly Activities with Coach Greg offering feedback! These sessions will offer the athlete very clear insight of the Program's concepts. 
  • 3 x 1-Hour On-Ice Group Sessions
    Transition from Off-Ice to On-Ice, practicing real-time game techniques to sharpen the hockey players’ release during high-pressure situations. Each Hockey Player will be given the opportunity to understand and clearly know what 'persistence' means for the sport of hockey as these 1-hour sessions offer very little down time between On-Ice activities.

Waiver

In consideration of being allowed to participate as a student, instructor or volunteer (herein called “participant”) in The TRUE Hockey Program (“THP”), the undersigned acknowledges and agrees that:

  1. The on-ice, off-ice and dry land sporting activities have inherent physical risks that may result in serious damage, personal injury, paralysis, or death. Using proper equipment, following the rules and exercising discipline will reduce the risks.
  2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for mine or my child’s participation. I willingly agree that my child and/or I will comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. I however recognize that doing so will not eliminate all risk from the activities.
  3. Participant will not hold THP or any of its employees, officials, owners, managers, proprietors or designees or the ice rink or employees of the ice rink used by THP liable for injury that the student may sustain at, or relating to any THP activity. This includes any injuries sustained while participating outside of the THP facility.
  4. Participant is responsible for any and all medical costs for any injuries arising from or around THP activities.
  5. Participant has no known medical condition that restricts or prohibits participation in on-ice, off-ice or dry land sporting activity.
  6. Participant shall act in a mature and responsible manner.
  7. THP may use, without compensation, to the undersigned or participant, any photo, audio and/or video recording of any THP activity which the Participant appears for promotional, advertising or educational purposes.
  8. I understand that neither THP nor the facility is responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.
  9. The undersigned acknowledges that THP owners and representatives have made no representation, warranties, inducements or promises which are not contained herein and this signed form represents the entire Agreement between the undersigned and THP.
  10. In the case of a medical emergency I give permission for THP, its officers, employees, and instructors to seek medical attention for myself (if over 18) or my child, if I, the parent or legal guardian, am absent. I have read this agreement, fully understand its terms, and sign below voluntarily and without inducement.
  11. By agreeing to this waiver, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of your personal information for future marketing opportunities related to our programs, services, and products. We may share this information with trusted third parties to enhance these offerings, but rest assured, your personal details will never be sold. Your privacy is important to us, and we will take all necessary steps to ensure that your information is handled securely and responsibly.
